One mentor can change a whole life
Vince had coaches and family who refused to let him fall through the cracks. Most kids in the neighborhoods we serve have never had that person. We fix that.
How the initiative works
Mentorship isn't a program to us — it's the difference-maker in Vince's own story, and the through-line of everything the foundation does. The Mentorship & Leadership Initiative connects young people with adults who offer wisdom, perspective, and a listening ear, then helps those kids become leaders themselves.

Positive role models
We connect youth with mentors who show up consistently — people who can help a kid envision a path to success and walk it with them.

Leadership development
Workshops and hands-on programs that build the skills young people need to lead — in the classroom, on the team, and in their communities.

Partner organizations
We work alongside groups like Big Brothers Big Sisters to reach more kids than any one organization could alone.
Vince practices what he preaches
He mentors the quarterbacks who followed him at Texas — Quinn Ewers, Arch Manning — on the parts of the job no playbook covers: pressure, fame, and staying grounded when everyone wants a piece of you.
The foundation brings that same honesty to kids who'll never play a down. You don't need a stadium to need someone in your corner.
